Scholarship Application
The Virginia Auctioneers Association is proud to provide the Morris Fannon Scholarship. This scholarship is for any VAA resident that is a graduate of an acceptable auction school that has recently obtained a Virginia Auctioneers License in the last two (2) years or for any VAA member that has furthered their education by obtaining one of the National Auctioneer Association’s Designations (CAI, AMM, BAS, AARE, CES, CAS, GPPA, MPPA) in the last two (2) years. Applications from qualified candidates are reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. A candidate’s scholarship merit, in addition to financial need, will be considered. Applicants must submit this form along with requested supporting documents to the following:

Applications must be postmarked by December 1 of the current year. The selected recipient will be notified by person, mail, or phone, that they were selected as the scholarship winner. If you have questions regarding the application or eligibility, please call the office of the Virginia Auctioneers Association at 888-878-0601.
Scholarship Payment: The reimbursement will be $1,500.00.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the school reimbursement: the applicant must be a VAA resident that is a graduate of an acceptable auction school that has recently obtained a Virginia Auctioneers License in the last two (2) years.
To be eligible for this designation scholarship: the applicant must be a VAA member for (1) full year, complete the application, and have met the requirements of the designation, and complete all the requirements in the last two (2) years.
