About VAA

For over 50 years, the VAA has been recognized by the auction industry as a professional organization worthy of emulation.

Under the leadership of Morris Fannon (Pennington Gap), the following dedicated and far seeing gentlemen met at the Roanoke Hotel, Roanoke, VA in May, 1958 for the purpose of organizing the Virginia Auctioneers Association.

Bernard Hart, Secretary of the National Auctioneers Association, also participated in an advisory capacity. The VAA was chartered at this meeting and has progressed steadily in strength of membership and attainment of its goals.

The Virginia Auctioneers Association is leading the way into the 21st Century!
