On behalf of the Board of Directors, I welcome you to the online home of the Virginia Auctioneers Association. For over 50 years the VAA, and its members, have been leaders in the auction industry, not only in Virginia, but in the United States.  The history of our association dates back to 1958.  Our purpose is to formulate and maintain ethical standards for the guidance and regulation of our members, to promote and advance the auction profession, and to make the public more aware of the advantages of selling and buying via the auction method.

As a consumer, we encourage you to visit this site frequently to learn more about the auction way of marketing Real Estate and Personal Property, to watch for upcoming auctions on our auction calender, and to visit our membership directory to find an auctioneer or auction company when you should have a need!

Members - VAA.org is currently receiving about 11,000 visits per month. Please take the time to update your personal and business profiles on the membership directory and remember, you can list all of your upcoming auctions on our auction calendar.  We will also be posting News & Events on a regular basis to keep you better informed.  This web site is here to give you another tool to better serve your customers.
